Cedarwood + Spice Hot Process Soap

This rustic soap is made using the hot process method, wherein the soap is cooked in a slow cooker. I love the lather from soaps made in this method. It has a creamy, rich and abundant lather. I used comfrey and chickweed tea for the liquid in this recipe, which adds a soothing factor. In hot process you can add a bit of oil after cooking that does not get saponified, and therefore adding an extra conditioning element as well, I chose luxurious hempseed oil for that. It is all natural, with no added colorant, and contains a blend of Cedarwood, Lemongrass and Cinnamon Leaf essential oils. These bars are on the large side.

Ingredients: Olive Oil, Comfrey and Chickweed Tea, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Hempseed Oil, and Essential Oil blend of Cedarwood, Lemongrass and Cinnamon Leaf.
